The Adult Transitional Living program provides a safe & supportive residential environment for our clients to acquire the skills needed to regulate their lives while regaining independence.
This program often works in conjunction with our Community Based skills development program, but referrals can come from many varied sources. Perfect candidates for ATL are clients who need a higher level of support than by-appointment skills sessions or clients struggling to maintain their affairs before or after residential treatment at the state hospital.
Involvement in the program means living in our south Indy residences. Residents are required to be involved with Adult & Child Health services and be willing to engage with skills sessions that are meant to teach them to maintain their own housing, finances, and mental health. Our team handles all medication needs and develops a unique, goal-oriented plan for every client.
